Civil Liability

It insures damages caused to third parties and is the legally required insurance for recreational boats. The Base module is intended for customers who only wish to comply with the compulsory insurance.

Assistance

It consists of a wide range of coverages that protect the vessel and its occupants, including guarantees of:

• Medical and hospital expenses abroad;
• Transport or medical repatriation of the wounded and sick;
• Early return;
• Advancement of funds abroad;
• Sending skipper or crew;
• Dispatch of towing vehicle for the transport or repatriation of the safe vessel.

Occupants of vessel

Composed of the covers of:

• Treatment and repatriation expenses (€500, €1,500 or €2,500);
• Death or permanent disability (€5,000, €15,000 or €25,000);
• Funeral costs (€250, €750 or €1,250).

Damage to the vessel

It guarantees material damage to the insured recreational craft, when floating, on land, while being placed or removed from  water, arising from or as a result of:

• Fire, lightning, explosion, storms, grounding, submersion, collision, collision or collision with any fixed or floating object, as well as the costs of rescue arising from all these risks;
• Theft of the insured pleasure craft and/or life-saving equipment or theft of fixed accessories;
• By the placement or removal of water, due to the breakage of the rope of a crane, winch or other suitable means or due to electrical or mechanical damage to the same apparatus;
• Among others.

Personal items

It covers damage caused to the personal belongings of the occupants.

Optional Third Party Liability

Option to increase the civil liability capital up to 750 thousand euros.

Strikes, riots and disturbances of public order

In the event of strikes, riots, disturbances and other disturbances of public order, we guarantee coverage for damages that have been directly caused by these situations.

Seismic phenomena

In the event of damage to insured property as a result of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis or fires resulting from these phenomena, we guarantee coverage for damage that has been directly caused by these situations.
